Hawkins Amplification actually started as a small amplifier and instrument repair shop in Flint, Mi. in 2008. Our founder, Mark, started as a teenager modifying stereos, amplifiers, guitars, and whatever he could get his hands on. This eventually turned into a repair business serving all of the area musicians and making sure everyone’s gigs went unhitched and worry free. He soon turned to creating amplifiers with a basis of being serviceable and making that tone we all want a reality. The formula was simple. Make an amp with great components, layout, and noise free standards. And without mention they were made to look great and every player was able to pick cosmetic features to make it their own.
