We took that beloved tweed tone and made it into a head! Plug into your favorite cabinet and get ready to dig in. With 4, 8, and 16 ohm outputs you can use any speaker instead of being stuck in a combo. The DLX+ features an expanded Normal section, giving you a bass and treble control instead of the usual just volume. The Bright section is just as you’d expect with just a tone and volume. Everything from clean to crunchy overdrive is within your reach and the Master Volume makes it a great recording tool too because you can turn up the preamp and play at moderate levels. The DLX+ also has a secret weapon, a 3-way NFB switch on the back (that’s for negative feedback) and is like an attitude switch. Go from clean, crunch, to crunchy fuzz at the flick of a switch. The channels on the DLX+ are slightly separated to be able to have 2 tone sections but you still can jumper channels between the input jacks to run both simultaneously. Circuitwise, this amp is built using turret board construction on a heavy duty epoxy board. Everything is overbuilt using 1W resistors (10W on the cathode), Mallory 150 coupling capacitors, F&T and MOD filter capacitors, Alpha potentiometers, and NOS 6V6 power tubes for 15W of power. Full tube complement is a 12AY7, 12AX7, 5Y3, and (2) 6V6.
